Abi is a freelance surface pattern designer and illustrator who works from her rural Suffolk studio with her English Cocker Spaniel, Bessie, running her own business whilst offering design services for commercial and personal projects.

She is passionate about combining hand painting and drawing skills with modern digital design techniques to create beautiful and contemporary designs. Her bond with Bessie, as well as having grown up in a home full of animals, inspired Abi to create her very own range of home decor and lifestyle products for fellow pet parents and animal lovers alike.

​

Her business began when she started creating bespoke hand painted pet portraits for family and friends during her time at college. This has grown and diversified, with her now offering a range of other creative design services as well as the original portraits. Since graduating with a degree in Textiles from Arts University Bournemouth in 2019, she has translated her painting and illustration skills to surface pattern design and has been lucky enough to work with a number of design studios and small businesses creating designs for interiors, fashion and accessories.

Abi prides herself on providing unique and personal products crafted from high quality materials she has sourced and hand selected. All of her work is lovingly designed and made in the UK.
